About us
Duo Mutis was created in 2015 by Japanese singer Ayumi Maesato and Chilean clarinet player Alvaro Zegers. The main objective of this duo is to play contemporary music, but they travel through other musical genres like classical music and Japanese traditional music. Ayumi’s very large register allows her to sing music for soprano lyrique, mezzo soprano and even contralto. Alvaro’s clarinets, B flat, A, basset horn, bass clarinet and contrabass clarinet give this duo a musical universe rich in contrasts, colors and timbres.

Duo Mutisは、日本人歌手の前里亜夕美とチリ人クラリネティスト、アルバロ・セヒェルスによって2015年に結成されました。現代音楽を中心に、クラシック、日本やチリの伝統音楽など様々なジャンルを旅しています。ソプラノリリックからコントラルトまでの幅広い音域を持つ歌手の亜夕美と、クラリネット、バスクラリネット、コントラバスクラリネットからバセットホルンまで多種多様なクラリネットを演奏するアルバロによって、多彩な色合い、コントラスト、響きを持つ音楽を生み出します。
Duo Mutis a été créé en 2015 par la chanteuse japonaise Ayumi Maesato et le clarinettiste chilien Alvaro Zegers. L'objectif principal de ce duo est de jouer de la musique contemporaine, mais ils voyagent à travers d'autres genres musicaux comme la musique classique et la musique traditionnelle japonaise. Le très grand registre d'Ayumi lui permet de chanter de la musique pour soprano lyrique, mezzo soprano et même contralto. Les clarinettes d'Alvaro, la clarinette en si bémol, en la, le cor de basset, la clarinette basse et la clarinette contrebasse confèrent à ce duo un univers musical riche en contrastes, en couleurs et en timbres.
Duo Mutis se crea el 2015 por la cantante japonesa, Ayumi Maesato, y el clarinetista chileno Álvaro Zegers. El objetivo principal de este dúo es tocar música contemporánea, pero también viajan a través de otros géneros musicales como la música clásica y la música tradicional japonesa. El registro vocal muy amplio de Ayumi le permite cantar música para soprano lírica, mezzo soprano e incluso para contralto. Los clarinetes de Álvaro, en si bemol y en la, el corno di bassetto, el clarinete bajo y el contrabajo, le dan a este dúo un universo rico en contrastes, colores, y timbres.
